Denzel Washington to star in Tony Scott's 'Unstoppable'

Denzel Washington is in talks to star in the Tony Scott-directed drama 'Unstoppable'.

The project would see Washington playing an experienced engineer who jumps in a locomotive with a young conductor to chase down a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals.

Mark Bomback has penned the script for the film, which is loosely inspired by a true event.

Julie Yorn, is producing 'Unstoppable' with Scott, who will reunite with Washington for their fifth film together.

The 20th Century Fox film is scheduled for a fall production start, reports Variety.
