Mischa Barton takes break from movies for stage career

Former 'OC' star Mischa Barton has decided to take a break from pursuing movie roles to concentrate on a stage career.

Barton is taking a sabbatical from the big screen and is determined to land a role in a Shakespearean play, reports contactmusic.com.

She has even taken a course on the playwright to improve her chances and says it is her top priority.
