OK, this should excite quite a few people (I know for a fact that Geraldine Jeremiah and Punitha Yogaratnam will be walking around with big grins on their faces when they read this) but there’s a rumour that Buffy’s about to stage a return.

As I said, it’s just a rumour. Plus Sarah Michelle Gellar is currently expecting her first child, so any work on a big screen movie (because apparently, that’s what she is in talks to do) would have to wait till SMG is fit and able.

Anyway, this is what ShowbizSpy reported a couple of days ago: An insider says, “There is an idea for a script and to pick the story up with Buffy older and maybe even a mother. Michelle is busy with movie projects at the moment but she is excited about the idea. Buffy still has a huge fan-base so this is a movie that already has an audience.”

If you’re a fan, I’d advise you to keep all fingers and toes crossed.
