Yacht Business Meeting - How to Impress Clients

In the world of business, it is not getting any easier to attract and retain clients. Marketing consumes much of a business’ resources, both in terms of the time it takes and the money for marketing materials. It is therefore certainly important when you have a potential client in front of you to do all that can be done to convert that potential client into an actual client. As the expression goes “You never get a second chance to make a first impression“. If the person is already a client, it is far less costly, perhaps by an order of magnitude, to try to retain that client as opposed to finding a new one.

The question is how to accomplish this conversion or retention in a cost effective manner? The answer, of course, includes providing excellent service to potential and existing clients; however, this may not be enough. What needs to be done is to make an emotional impact. Traditionally the solution might have been to take the client to a nice restaurant. This is good, but it is done all the time - let’s think outside the box. The question you may wish to ask yourself is how you use your resources to make an impression on the client that is unique and lasting.

The Solution

Imagine a small corporate meeting on a private yacht. You are sitting in the sun room overlooking the water with an incredible view - not a bad setting for a meeting! The yacht does not even have to leave the dock. Many yacht charter companies will give you much better rates for using their yacht if they do not have the extra expense of leaving the dock. The cost may even be less then renting traditional meeting space. It is both very unique and very affordable at the same time.

In business today with the internet it is possible for even a small business to project a “Large Business” image. The actual physical location of the business and its offices may be less than ideal. Having a meeting on a private yacht is about as good as you can get with the “good impression” factor. If you are looking for something special, then consider a yacht charter.
