leonardo dicaprio warned me against drugs: Zac Efron

High School Musical star Zac Efron says that Leonardo Dicaprio warned him against drugs and also said that if he wants to enjoy a lasting career in Hollywood he should stay away from the bad habit.

Efron met Dicaprio at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game last year. Efron insists it was a valuable meeting because the "Titanic" star doled out indispensable advice about how to avoid the trappings of fame, reported contactmusic.com.

“I thought I was going to ask him questions. He ended up asking me questions, and in that, he told me a lot. He said, 'There's one way that you can really mess this all up. Just do heroin. If you steer clear of that, the other obstacles you'll be able to navigate.' And that makes sense," said Efron.

The 21-year-old is taking heed of DiCaprio's instruction, choosing to abstain from drugs and only drinking alcohol in private.
